Wicked Themed Pop-up Bar at Bakery Square

On November 27th, Bakery Square introduced Bubble & Broom, a Wicked-inspired pop-up bar right here in Pittsburgh! Located on City Kitchen’s patio, this enchanting experience is a must-visit for fans of the beloved musical.

The grand opening took place on Friday, December 6th, welcoming guests 21 and over to step into the magical world of Oz. Visitors were treated to a dazzling lineup of attractions, from posing in front of the iconic Emerald City backdrop to admiring Glinda’s sparkling pink wardrobe and browsing through Elphie’s spellbinding collection of books. To top it off, attendees enjoyed unique, themed cocktails crafted especially for the occasion.

The opening night featured a live DJ spinning tunes to keep the party lively, with a playlist that included Wicked favorites. Guests embraced the theme, showing up in green, pink, and other Wicked-inspired outfits and accessories. The festivities also included fun party games like Jenga and Uno, plus a spirited Defying Gravity singing contest that stole the show!
